Disclaimer for the Wood:
Wood is a product of nature. Natural wood from each tree varies in grain, pattern density and color. The effect of nature’s original beauty on the final color is considered to be distinctive character so highly sought after for generations. Color and grain variations may differ between each product because of this material characteristic and should not be considered a defect. Woods like Cherry and Maple age (darken) with time and exposure to light. The wood being use for the two tone crests is Amish harvested and air dried, some of the plaques may acquire cracks or chipping due to moisture and drying processes. Additionally, the air dried wood reacts differantly when stained and some pieces may be darker then the photos pictured. This will not be considered a defect. Due to the softness and grain of some woods, finer details in the carving may not be able to be achieved as they show in the software rendition that I e-mail to you. Some software renderings will need to be over or under emphasized to achieved the desired look in the wood. So please call or e-mail me if you have questions on this.
